Our Mergers & Acquisitions Group has been very active in recent years. The range and scope of the transactions in which we have participated has been very broad. The largest and most complex have probably been our representation of the buyers in the acquisition of two of Minnesota’s major taconite mining properties of the seller in the former LTV Steel Mining Co. reorganization and redevelopment project. The mainstay of our Group’s practice, however, is the small and mid-size asset and stock sales and acquisitions that many of our clients pursue on a frequent basis. Every transaction is different, but we are able to provide the expertise necessary to deal with the many issues involved, including:
